Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, bipolar disorder, or one of life's harder transitions, you deserve care that actually takes the time to understand your whole story. I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice and 16 years of clinical experience across ICU, pediatrics, military medicine, and public health. I offer telehealth appointments throughout California and in-person visits in Novato. My approach goes beyond medication. I look at the full picture including sleep, stress, lifestyle, relationships, and what small meaningful changes can shift how you feel day to day. Medication is one tool among many and I will always be honest with you about options. My care is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that good psychiatric care means treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I take time to actually listen. I want to understand your full history, your life context, and what you have already tried before we talk about a plan. I look beyond symptoms to the underlying factors including sleep, stress, lifestyle, and behavior patterns that shape how you feel. I believe small intentional changes alongside the right clinical support can make a real difference. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults and have a particular passion for patients who feel overlooked by the system, including women whose symptoms were dismissed, people navigating major life transitions like a new chapter, a loss, a diagnosis, a relationship ending, or a family changing, and older adults whose mental health deserves the same careful attention as their physical health.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We begin with a comprehensive 60-minute intake where I take the time to really get to know you, complete a full psychiatric evaluation, and build a treatment plan together. I integrate psychotherapy and behavioral strategies alongside medication management because I believe they work best together. Follow-up appointments are typically 30 to 45 minutes depending on what you need, and focus on how you are feeling, any adjustments, and your overall progress. I look at what is and is not working across all areas of your life, not just your symptoms. I am always reachable between appointments through your patient portal and my goal is to help you find a path forward that actually fits your life. I am reachable in between appointments through email and messaging.
