Miriam earned her Master of Medical Science from Wake Forest University, holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Psychiatry (NCCPA), and graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor's in Neuroscience. Her extensive clinical experience across multiple specialties has shaped her holistic approach to care. Beyond her clinical work, Miriam serves as a passionate mental health advocate, experienced speaker, and clinical preceptor, having received grants to deliver educational programs to healthcare professionals.
When not helping patients thrive, Miriam is a proud military spouse and devoted mother to two young daughters. Active in her church and community, she was honored with the Winston-Salem Under 40 Leadership Award. A Wake Forest alum and devoted ACC football fan, she enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and finding joy in life's small moments. Miriam's combination of clinical excellence and genuine compassion creates a therapeutic environment where patients feel truly seen, heard, and supported on their journey to wellness.
