About Miriam Sherif
Miriam Sherif, PA-C, moved to the Bay Area in late 2023 and is thrilled to join the Carbon Health team. She earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from South College. Her prior clinical experience was at a community hospital in Dallas, providing primary care to people living with HIV. Interacting with a diverse and often complex patient population has allowed her to become a compassionate provider who is committed to offering judgment-free care. Miriam enjoys forming connections and building relationships with her patients throughout their health journey.

The entire process from finding a primary, to booking the appointment, to checking in was so easy. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Dr. Sherif was awesome. I haven’t had a PCP in a while and was quite anxious going into my appointment. She made me feel extremely comfortable throughout my visit and spent a lot longer than I had expected talking with me about my medical history/concerns. Dr. Sherif & the rest of the care team were all extremely kind and professional. Very grateful to have found a new PCP here!

As an RN I admit to being Initially skeptical of the strip mall medical clinic, however, Miriam was wonderful and spent a good deal of time with me (more than I expected) discussing my concerns and mapping out a plan to address them. The clinic was not busy, nor did I feel rushed at any point. All in all a good experience and my needs were met. The lobby chairs could use a good cleaning, though..

Miriam Sherif was wonderful and made me feel really comfortable getting my Pap smear done. The check in process at the counter was a little awkward, though, because they had a different time for my appointment on their system than the time that I booked on Zodoc and almost turned me away until I showed my Zodoc confirmation email. Hang on to your confirmations!
