About Dr. Mishail Shapiro
Dr. Shapiro is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology and fellowship-trained in facial plastic surgery.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree at California State University and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Western University in California.
Dr. Shapiro is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Otorhinolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophtaholmology and Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Chicago Medical Society, Illinois State Medical Society, and American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology.
Being involved in the community is very important to Dr. Shapiro. He holds a section chair at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL and participates in a resident program with St. Francis Hospital to help educate future doctors.
He specializes in diseases of the Ear, Nose, & Throat, Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Allergies. To be able to help a broader range of patients, Dr. Shapiro is also fluent in written and conversational English and Russian.
