About Mitalee Jiva

Advanced practice provider Mitalee Jiva, a certified family nurse practitioner, holds certificates in basic life support (BLS) and as a Department of Transportation medical examiner. Her primary clinical interests include diagnosis and management of acute and chronic illness, prevention and wellness, physicals, depression and anxiety, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, musculoskeletal pain, and treatment for sexually transmitted infections. Family practice allows Mitalee to create long-term relationships with patients and gives her the satisfaction of helping people daily. The most rewarding aspects of her profession are the opportunities to connect with people and improve patient outcomes with individualized, guideline-based care. Mitalee's approach focuses on individualized care and prevention. She helps patients address current issues and stay up to date with screenings, vaccinations, lifestyle modifications, and other measures to keep healthy.
