“He is a great listener to what you are expressing to him! He also tries to find you the best medication to help with what you are going through or looking for. This was my 3rd visit with him and I won’t change my psychiatrist now, it takes a long time to actually find a good one who cares and listens and this is exactly what he does! I would highly recommend him even if not in your area (like mine) he is worth the drive!”

What is your typical process for working with clients?

At Insightful Pathways LLC, my process for working with clients is structured yet flexible to ensure personalized, high-quality care. Here’s what you can expect: 1. Initial Consultation (Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation) – 60 Minutes - We’ll start with an in-depth discussion about your mental health history, symptoms, lifestyle, medical background, and any previous treatments. - I’ll ask about your goals and concerns to understand what you hope to achieve through treatment. - If applicable, we’ll review any current medications, past treatments, and lab work. 2. Diagnosis and Personalized Treatment Plan - Based on our discussion and clinical assessments, I’ll provide a diagnosis (if applicable) and treatment recommendations tailored to your specific needs. - Your treatment plan may include: - Medication management (if appropriate) - Therapy referrals (if needed) - Lifestyle modifications (sleep, diet, stress management) - Crisis and relapse prevention planning 3. Ongoing Follow-Up Appointments – 30 Minutes - Regular check-ins (typically every 2-4 weeks initially, then as needed) to monitor progress and adjust treatment. - Medication adjustments if necessary, ensuring the best therapeutic outcomes with minimal side effects. - Discussion of concerns and improvements, addressing any new symptoms or challenges. 4. Long-Term Mental Health Support - As we progress, follow-ups may become less frequent based on stability and needs. - Preventive care and wellness strategies will be discussed to ensure continued success. - If transitioning care (e.g., discontinuing medication or moving to therapy-focused care), we will create a gradual and safe plan. 5. Accessibility & Communication - I offer telehealth and in-person appointments for convenience. - Secure messaging is available for non-urgent concerns and medication concerns.

I was pleasantly surprised not only with the office staff and the office itself but Dr Muhammad was a pleasure to talk to and listen to everything I had to say. I'm visiting him next week to keep the ball rolling. This is very important to me.

This doctor was awesome. I just picked him on a whim and I’m so glad I did. He is very easygoing and makes hard things comfortable to talk about. He doesn’t pry or judge hes just goal oriented in getting his patients to feel better. This was one half hour session but I get a very genuine vibe with him and plan on keeping this as my therapist. Backstory, I had a horrible experience this Monday with a very judgmental, condescending lady doctor on Zocdoc that made me feel terrible upon leaving the appointment. I still didn’t get seen for the depression which is what I needed so I found this man two days later and it’s been a blessing in disguise. He was so kind and helpful. I have high hopes. I highly suggest and recommend this to be your doctor you can see for yourself what I mean :)
