Mojdeh Tabibian is a California board-certified Physician Assistant, having earned her Master in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University. She achieved Magna Cum Laude honors for her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
She commenced her career by practicing family medicine at a community health center for about four years. Her transition to dermatology is rooted in her recognition of the immediate impact a dermatology provider can have on restoring patients' confidence and capabilities. As a distinguished member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, she completed her fellowship in dermatology. She is also a devoted member of the California Dermatology Physician Assistant Society. She finds fulfillment in accurately diagnosing and skillfully treating a diverse spectrum of acute and chronic skin conditions. Mojdeh has the expertise to conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations, establish diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate medications and treatment. She is skilled at performing biopsies, excisions, and administering Botox injections.

In less than 5min she informed me that :
“Acne was a chronic condition that would never go away.”
“The only way to cure acne is Accutane” (which I cannot take due to an autoimmune disease.)
Followed up with, a stale attempt at relating through her teenage acne story.. that even she will breakout if not on top of her regime.
I’ve been dealing with acne in varying degrees for longer than I haven’t. I’ve tried countless RX, routines and remedies, sought nutritionist, hormone specialist even acupuncturist for support. All to avoid the horrors of the dermatologist.
She embodied all of my grievances with this system in a matter of minutes.
If you’re seeking a “professional opinion” that leaves you more dismissed, unseen and hopeless than when you came in,
she’s the provider for you.

Make sure you call ahead when they text you because they may need to reschedule your appointment. The paperwork was a bit complicated to complete on my phone and ended up having to use my laptop. Everyone was really friendly!

Overall really nice! It was a bit tricky at first since it was my first telehealth appointment ever but we got it accomplished. We had some difficulty with the audio on my end unfortunately but it wasn’t too bad. She identified what I needed and reviewed the products and prescriptions I would be getting. And then that’s when Lexi jumped in to help get the insurance and product payment settled!
