About Dr. Molly Nathanson
Thank you for booking with us. Please note there is a $60 late cancellation and no-show fee. You’ll receive an email from our practice five days before your appointment to confirm details. Intake forms will also be sent directly—please be sure to complete them in advance. Complete insurance and contact information is required at the time of booking or shortly thereafter.
I strive to provide care that is a partnership between myself and my patients. You know your body better than anyone else, and you should feel heard during your medical appointments. As a queer provider, my own personal experiences as a patient in the medical system have inspired me to create Syzygy Health. My goal is to create a safe and inclusive space where all feel welcome, respected, and understood.
I have been in practice for 7 years. While my training is in midwifery, about 6 years ago I took a side step away from obstetrics to focus on gynecology, sexual health, and care for transgender and gender-diverse patients. I hold a Master’s in Nurse-Midwifery from Columbia University, a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University.
In my free time, I love cooking, spending time with my family, woodworking, making art, doing crosswords, and taking my dog Babka for walks in the woods.

This was the best ob experience I’ve ever had. IUD placement is painful and they really go above and beyond to make the experience as comfortable as it can be. I felt considered in a way I didn’t know you could be at the doctors. I will recommend them to everyone.

Best doctor I’ve ever met. I feel like almost every medical provider I’ve seen has been obvious about not actually caring about what was going on with me. I’ve had many specifically tell me the thing that brought me there wasn’t really happening. I dread going to the doctor because it feels like what’s the point. That is the opposite of how Dr. Nathanson made me feel. She cared about my concerns, and I felt like she WANTED me to be okay. Like she cared about me as a person. I’d see her for everything if I could.

I had a hormone panel come back with one area's results flagged as "very low." It correlated with body challenges I'd been experiencing for the past year and a half that I had been trying to manage on my own with diet, exercise, and supplements (none of which were working). My doctor dismissed my test results AND issues that I was experiencing as, "even though it says it's low, it's actually normal and fine." WHAT?? This lady did NOT have to live in my body, so I was NOT accepting that. I got right to searching, found Dr. Nathanson, and booked an appointment for four days later. The BEST thing I've ever done for my health- she reviewed my tests, took my concerns and symptoms very seriously, and came up with a plan. I feel like I'm on the road to finally getting my life back. If you're a woman not feeling like you're being taken seriously for hormone-related issues, book an appointment with Dr. Nathanson WITHOUT DELAY. You can thank me after. :-D
