Dr. Thomas is an experienced, Board Certified Dermatologist who cares for adult patients as well as kids. A Louisiana native, she received her bachelor’s degree in biology at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge before heading north to Howard University, where she earned her Doctorate of Medicine and completed an internal medicine internship and dermatology residency.
Dr. Thomas specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She cares for patients of all skin types and ethnic backgrounds, helping with a wide variety of medical and cosmetic concerns, including acne, rashes, rosacea, psoriasis, full body cancer screenings, mole checks, warts, skin cancers, wrinkles, discoloration, uneven texture, scars, fat deposits, hair loss and many other conditions affecting hair, skin and nails.
Dr. Thomas has a special interest in cosmetic procedures, dissolving stubborn fat and laser treatments. Dermatology is her passion because the specialty allows her to help patients become more comfortable and confident in their own skin.
When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys supporting the local community through outreach and volunteer services, and sharing her knowledge on the importance of sun protection and aging gracefully.

Had a great first appointment with Dr. Thomas. The office was clean and the staff was friendly. I was in and out of the building within 40 minutes and Dr. Thomas took her time to explain my acne treatment and her reasoning. She listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable. I will be following up with her in the next few months as I start my prescriptions and look forward to my skin recovery journey with her.

Dr. Thomas was AMAZING! I didnt have to wait long at all. She came right in and really spent a lot of time speaking me about my concerns and explaining my conditions to me in detail. She gave me lots of samples to try, provided discount programs for my perscriptions and gave me suggestions on ober the counter products to try that were budget friendly but effective. She has such a pleasant personality and was very knowledgable and warm. I'm happy to have found my new dermatologist and I will recommend her to everyone I know!
