About Dr. Monica Grover
Dr. Monica Grover is the medical director at Asira Medical and Beauty Scripts in Yorktown Heights, New York. She is double board certified in Family Medicine and Obstetrics and has extensive experience working with a diverse range of patients.
Her goal is to use an integrative approach to help patients achieve a healthy body and mind.
Dr. Grover completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology and biology at SUNY Stony Brook. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York Institute of Technology.
After completing her undergraduate education, Dr. Grover went on to earn her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and performed her residency in Family Medicine at Long Beach Medical Center. She later completed a fellowship in Women’s Health at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
In her practice, Dr. Grover emphasizes a holistic approach to health and wellness. She believes that a healthy lifestyle is a crucial part of maintaining a healthy body. Dr. Grover knows that each patient is unique. She ensures that each patient receives the personalized care they need to achieve optimum health.
Dr. Grover also knows that feeling confident about your appearance is key to staying healthy. Dr. Grover is AWESOME! I can't say enough great things about her. She is knowledgeable on a host of various health issues as it pertains to endo, ob-gyn, and overall women's health. It's great to have a Dr. that is young enough to get it, while you still have full confidence that she knows exactly what she's doing. I love her and am so glad to have found a doctor like her in the city.

She has been the only doctor and/or physician who actually listens and talks knowledgeably thus far for me. This was my first visit and I'm very happy to have possibly found the one doctor I may need for a very long time.

I've been to Dr. Grover several times. I really like her disposition, as a young woman I feel I can trust and relate to her. This is why I continue to see her. Her staff is also wonderfully friendly and helpful. My only advice is that if you get any blood work or tests done, you need to be proactive and call the office if you want to get the results. I recommend her.

Dr.Grover was really nice and inviting. Going to the doctor may be nerve wrecking however she makes you feel calm. She explains everything she is going to do before she does it to put your mind at ease. I will definitely be going back to her.

Dr. Grover was very professional, very warm and made the whole appointment very comfortable. She took the time to answer questions extensively and even answered medical questions not associated with the initial visit. The staff at the office is also extremely pleasant.

It was fine. However, I never got a follow up call about my blood work. I would assume that means everything went fine but it seems a little improper not to follow up with a patient. Luckily for me, my company switched Health Insurance providers and I can go back to my original doctor who is amazing and a much more reliable OB-GYN than Dr. Grover.

I had a good experience with Dr Grover. I had been through a few doctors over the years as well as in between jobs, and had not found a regular PCP that I felt comfortable with or desired to go to again. I think my search may be over. I am very picky and Monica addressed all of my issues, concerns and questions. She offered solutions, things I can try, things to think about, etc. I think I found my Primary!

I was a little annoyed with the nearly hour-long wait, but Dr. Grover immediately apologized and explained that they have someone new on staff and had been running behind all day. We discussed my current health as well as family health history in her office before going to the examining room. The appointment itself was fast (not *too* fast-- just efficient), and Dr. Grover made me feel very welcome and comfortable, as did the admins working in the office.

Dr. Grover is amazing! I've only met with her once for a well visit, but she took the time to listen to me and did a through exam. She easily could've rushed through since I'm younger and have no issues. But I appreciate that she did not. I felt like we were best friends after walking out of her office and confident in my choice of a new primary.

I had my annual exam with Dr. Grover. First, she took me into her office to get a bit of my medical/lifestyle history. I've never had a doctor go over stuff like this. (I always wondered if they look over the forms they have you fill).
The visit was as pleasurable as an exam could be (it's akward in and of itself). She made me feel comfortable the entire visit and will definitely keep her as my primary doctor. Plus, she's open on Saturdays!
