Dr. Halem is the founder and medical director of the New York Dermatologic Surgery Cosmetic and Laser Center. She specializes in cosmetic dermatology, dermatologic surgery, Mohs surgery, and laser procedures. Dr. Halem earned her Doctor of Medicine and completed her residency in dermatology and cutaneous surgery at the University of Miami, as well as a residency in general surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Additionally, she completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and procedural dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco.
