About Dr. Monica Parameswaran
Dr. Monica Parameswaran is a fellowship-trained comprehensive foot and ankle podiatrist. She graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and received her doctoral degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, also in Philadelphia.
She completed her surgical residency at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, where she served as Chief Resident during his final year. She received training in general foot care, wound care, and sports medicine. Dr. Parameswaran spent an additional year completing a fellowship accredited by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, focusing on trauma surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. In the course of her training, she has participated in research publications focusing on rearfoot reconstruction.
Dr. Parameswaran is dedicated to optimizing patient outcomes and providing comprehensive care by treating a wide array of podiatric conditions with both conservative and surgical management. In her spare time, she enjoys embroidering, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and her cat.

DR. PARAMESWARAN WAS VERY KNOWLEGEABLE AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS. HER BEDSIDE MANNER WAS AMAZING, SHE TOOK HER TIME TO LISTEN TO MY CONCERNS AND EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO ME AND ALSO EXPLAINED WHAT THE PLAN WAS TO TREAT MY FOOT PROBLEMS. Dr. Parameswaran is an excellent podiatrist. She took the time to thoroughly explain my diagnosis and treatment options, and never made me feel rushed. The office was clean, and the staff was friendly and efficient — I was seen close to my appointment time. My foot pain has improved significantly since starting her recommended treatment plan. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, attentive podiatrist.
