About Monique Wheeler
Monique Wheeler, L.Ac., Dipl.OM, MSTOM, graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science in 2008 with a Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. Formerly a city planner, she began her journey as an acupuncturist after experiencing her own profound healing through regular acupuncture treatment and Chinese herbal medicine. Before joining Aligned Modern Health, Monique had her own private practice for 14 years, where she focused on chronic and acute immune system disorders, acute and chronic pain, orthopedic conditions, anxiety, depression, headaches, migraines, and fertility. She enjoys working with a wide variety of health concerns as well as different patient populations, including pediatrics and older adults. After years of experience, she is still amazed at the power of acupuncture and how profoundly patients can heal through consistent treatment.

Monique is a talented and knowledgeable practitioner and I'm so very grateful for her care and expertise. I suffer from chronic shoulder pain and Monique's acupuncture treatments have provided me with much-needed pain relief. During the acupuncture treatments she also uses a variety of techniques that help me immensely - E-stim, massage, and Gua Sha tools to loosen my tight muscles. Additionally, Monique is simply a delightful person who truly cares about her patients, their lives, and their well-being. Monique is a gem!

Monique is a skilled, knowledgeable and gentle acupuncturist who listens, observes and treats as appropriate and needed each session. She has helped me tremendously with pain issues, in addition to raising my energy levels and achieving calmness all at the same time. After each session, I feel so much better and the effects are now long-lasting. I highly recommend her to people seeking treatment and a sense of well-being through acupuncture.

Monique is one in a trillion - I had tried all but surgery for severe lower back pain and herniated disc among many other issues - back pain disappeared with Monique's incredible precision, targeting the areas that matter most. I have left each session much more relaxed and symptoms drastically reduced. Therapeutic and relaxing is hard to come by particularly when what's being used to achieve the incredible results are needles! I can say that Monique singlehandedly (or more like two-handedly with the use of needles) saved me from needing surgery. For that alone I am forever grateful.

Where do I begin? Monique is phenomenal at what she does. I have always felt cared for and my pain levels have significantly improved. Monique takes the time to know her patients deeply to offer the best care possible. She’s also recommended supplements that have truly enhanced my quality of life. The combination of the above plus the cupping she offers have truly uplifted me during times of extreme pain in my chronic illness. I can’t thank her enough!
Additionally, the staff/environment of the office is unmatched. They feel like I am walking into a professional version of an episode of Friends. So supportive of one another and again the engagement with the patient, top notch.

I have been seeing Monique for several months for my back and shoulder issues. She is a professional and highly effective acupuncturist. She is also knowledgeable and very friendly! My back and shoulder have gained mobility back. I highly recommend Monique.

Monique is amazing! I have suffered with migraines my whole life. When I feel one coming on she has been able to knock it out with a single treatment.
Her treatments are gentle and relaxing. If you are considering trying acupuncture but are nervous, I would encourage you to visit Monique. She will put you at ease and help you to discover the immense benefits of acupuncture.

Monique is absolutely the best! When meeting her for the first time I told her my issues and areas of concern. She had no hesitation of how she could help me and where to start on our acupuncture journey. I have seen her weekly for the past few months and I feel a BIG difference. I have been seeing Monique Wheeler for acupuncture therapy for five months and the results have been phenomenal. I was desperate for relief from severe burnout, depression, and anxiety. Monique listens to her client’s needs with empathy and compassion and tailors each session based on how they are feeling at that time. Since I have started treatment under her care I have found significant relief from crippling anxiety and found ways to support myself in my own slow recovery out of years of suffering. Monique is a highly skilled licensed acupuncturist and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a professional acupuncture specialist. I am so grateful to have found her and the staff at AMH and for making the decision to try this form of therapy.
