About Dr. Moosa Haider
When you help patients, you impact not just the present individual or generation but all future generations. This impact is direct when you have the honor of saving a life, preserving all future generations that arise from that individual. It is indirect when you have the privilege of improving someone's quality of life through treatment, allowing them to continue doing good for countless others.
I appreciate the exquisite interplay between evidence-based guidelines and the imagination required to develop new therapies and techniques in the face of complex, intellectually stimulating challenges. I value both the technical and cognitive dimensions of medicine—the quick thinking needed during acute, life-threatening clinical situations and the formation of meaningful, long-term personal relationships with patients.
I connect with patients through listening and asking questions. I want to understand not only their disease process but also who they are as individuals.
I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College, completed my Residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University, followed by a Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of California, and a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Hofstra University.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and engaging with the community.
I believe that finding the motivation and willpower to make positive changes is essential for health. In many ways, becoming and staying healthy is a spiritual journey.

I already said that I liked Dr. Haider’s prompt attention to detail, my medical history, chief complaints and concerns, and so on and so forth. On a last and final note, I also liked that my appointment with him was not rushed!

Dr. Haider is very thorough and he explains everything to me. I never leave an appt feeling confused. He makes sure I know what I need to do to better my health. He makes sure I’m going to all of my appointments. He also follows up with me after my appointments.
