Dr. Niaz graduated in 1984 with his MBBS, from Sind Medical College, affiliated with Karachi University, Karachi, Pakistan.
Initially he acquired postgraduate training in Pakistan. After, he continued his post-graduation training and education with Royal College Physician in Ireland, and completed MRCPI, part one.
In 1992, he started residency training with interfaith Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York in Pediatric Medicine from July 1992-June 1993.
Then he joined Providence Hospital affiliated with George Washington University from July 1993 to June 1996 in internal Medicine. During his residency he conducted research in antthrombolytic therapy in myocardial infarction for which he received the best research award from Providence Hospital. He passed American Board of Internal Medicine in the same year.
From July 1996 to 1998 he was a fellow in infectious diseases from University of Mississippi.
In 1998 he started his private practice. He continued his education and training and currently is a fellow from American College of Physician, Diplomat, American Board of Internal Medicine, Diplomat, American Academy of Pain Management, Board eligible American Board of Sleep Medicine and Diplomat, American Board of Addiction Medicine.

Did not address any concerns, and was content to let me run out of maintenance medications that were due for refill, which could lead to seizures when I run out. I just moved to the area from out of state, and looking for someone to continue my care. I brought notes from my previous doctor, but was sent out of the office without any refills of these medications, due to run out on 4/26. He rescheduled an appointment for 4/28, 2 days after what would be my last dose.
