“The wait time was a little longer than usual but given the times we're on with COVID-19, I can surely understand why. However, it alarmed me that the staff wasn't using good social distancing practices. For example, while getting my blood pressure checked, another doctor walked a patient over and stood him on the scale that was literally right next to me to get his weight. I quickly jumped up and moved further away, but this was very disappointing. The wait room also did not have any distancing standards in place either. Highly recommend them putting these things into practice during these unprecedented times.”

About Dr. Murtaza Mussaji
Dr. Mussaji grew up in Houston and received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Houston. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, in 2004 and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 2007.
He opened his first clinic in 2008 near Gulfgate Mall and has always been dedicated to serving the community by providing the best health care and empowering his patients with the knowledge they need to better understand their health.
Dr. Mussaji is a member of TOMA (Texas Osteopathic Medical Association), TMA (Texas Medical Association), and HCMS (Harris County Medical Society). He also has privileges at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Medical Center and University General Hospital. He speaks English, Spanish, Gujarati, Hindi, and Swahili.
