Getting to know Dr. Mustafa Pirzada

Please note: Dr. Pirzada only accepts self pay patients. We are delighted to have Dr. M. Pirzada in our practice since 2014. Dr. Pirzada completed his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Florida, where he held the prestigious position of Chief Fellow. Prior to this, Dr. Pirzada attended medical school at Ross University and completed his psychiatry residency at West Virginia University. He is licensed to practice medicine in Florida and California and is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Pirzada treats children, adolescents and adults for all general psychiatric issues, including psychopharmacology, cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive therapy, family therapy, depression and grief, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, ADD/ADHD, autism, eating disorders, bipolar disorder and substance abuse. Dr. Pirzada has published research on eating disorders and has presented his research at national and local conferences. In addition, Dr. Pirzada has authored monthly editorials in the local newspaper while serving the community in Gainesville, FL regarding pertinent issues found within the child and adolescent population. Dr. Pirzada’s mission is to be able to serve his patient’s with the utmost understanding and compassion. His ability to listen, guide, and facilitate treatment options and recommendations to his patients translates to excellent patient-centered care.
