About Dr. Mychailo Fulmes
Mychailo Fulmes is a surgeon specializing in colorectal surgery caring for the Metropolitan New York area. Dr. Fulmes earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University in Ukraine. He then moved to the United States and completed his residency in general surgery at Fairview Hospital, followed by a residency in colon and rectal surgery at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania. During fellowships, he trained at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in colorectal oncology and New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Hospital.
Dr. Fulmes runs his own practice and is board certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the International Society of University Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery. His medical career is marked by many outstanding contributions to medicine, including several publications, research, and scientific presentations. Dr. Fulmes developed a unique technique for the treatment of severe anal pain and anal fissure in the office, even on the initial visit. This approach involves no surgery and no sphincterotomy (partial sphincter division), with excellent results close to 100%. Pain relief is achieved on day one after the procedure. He is also a patent developer for postoperative wound infection prevention. Dr. Fulmes believes alternative medicine can be used in many colorectal and health conditions alongside medications and surgical procedures.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Fulmes. Dr. Fulmes is absolutely the best doctor in NYC!! Most doctors specialize in prescribing harmful medicines. Dr. Fulmes Specializes in herbal medicines & even has some of his own hemorrhoid suppositories that healed my issue within only two days of using them!! I can not say enough good things about Dr. Fulmes…he is truly one of a kind. Today it’s hard to find doctors that truly care about the health of their patients & Dr. Fulmes Is an exemplary example of what it means to care about you as an individual. His knowledge is unmatched!! I truly thank GOD for him!! His staff/front desk lady is very kind, attentive & patient. They all go above & beyond the typical NYC level of care. First at all I would like to thank dr.Fulmes’s office stuff, they called me right after booking and offered me to come to closer, more convenient for me location, which saved me a lots of time. You not going to wait in reception for hours, I saw doctor in 20 minutes after my arrival.
Doctor Fulmes is a great specialist, he is attentive and competent and pointed me on problems, I wasn’t even aware of.
After appointment he also gave me list of recommendations and explained me reasons for every supplement or procedure he prescribed. I can tell that he takes holistic approach and sees human body as harmonious working mechanism, where all details are connected.
I’m following his diet and recommendations for 1 week already and can see improvement in my digestive system and overall level of energy.
Highly recommend dr.Fulmes to everyone who cares about their health and looking for gentle, holistic approach.

Like Very much the doctor and his team, they ware pleasant. Doctor professional, couple of seconds and everything is ready! Girls were very pleasant and sociable. I became bad after operation, I have nearly fainted, but the doctor has made everything that he could. Girls entertained my three-year-old daughter while I recovered. The blonde from reception was just an angel and has kindly called to me the taxi. I thank all team. It is forced to return for the next procedures. It will be only to this doctor, I trust him.
