I am an internationally trained psychiatrist, board certified in general psychiatry and addiction medicine. I earned my medical degree from Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine and completed my residency in psychiatry at Albert Einstein Medical Center. My areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of mood and personality disorders.
I take pride in being regarded by my patients as knowledgeable, informative, kind, prompt, and professional. As my patient, I will work closely with you to find the right approach to address your needs. I also collaborate with several therapists to enhance the success of your treatment.
I look forward to meeting you at either of my two practices!

I made an appointment with Dr. Galal to get a second opinion on a treatment recommended to me by another psychiatrist. When I made this appointment through ZocDoc, it was cancelled by his office and rescheduled with a nurse practitioner. The NP wrote me a prescription for Adderall and sent me on my way without scheduling follow up.
