Dr. Nader Helmi is a Las Vegas Native. After graduating from Bishop Gorman High School he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah. Following this he earned his osteopathic medical degree at Des Moines University. Dr. Helmi then completed his internship, anesthesia residency, and pain management fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Training at one of the most highly regarded pain clinics in the world allowed Dr. Helmi to learn the most advanced techniques to manage a myriad of painful conditions. He understands the multi-dimensional aspects of pain and employs an empathetic and compassionate approach to treating his patients. Dr. Helmi is Associate Faculty for the Anesthesiology Residency Program, Sunrise Health. He is a clinical instructor for the program's chronic pain subspecialty. He is an Assistant Professor at Touro University Nevada, College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Helmi is a Clinical Consultant for Boston Scientific. In this role he teaches other physicians the indications and techniques for the most advanced therapies. Dr. Helmi is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He has been treating patients in the Las Vegas area since 2010.
