About Dr. Nadia Afridi

As one of a limited number of female plastic surgeons in New York City, Dr. Afridi is specifically interested in women's health issues as they relate to plastic surgery. She is keenly aware of the needs of young moms who want to experience the joys of family but re-establish their pre-baby physiques. Therefore, Dr. Afridi has established a particular interest, and is specializing, in post-maternity body reshaping. She also specializes in cosmetic breast surgery, covering the spectrum from breast reduction to breast augmentation as well as reconstructive aesthetic breast surgery. Before entering practice, Dr. Afridi spent a year working for the non-profit organization Interplast. As the Jerome P. Webster fellow, she was primarily performing cleft lip and palate repair as well as burn reconstruction for children in the developing world. She believes strongly in the importance of surgical philanthropy.
