About Dr. Naila Soorty
Dr. Nalia Soorty graduated from the Government College for Women in Karachi, Pakistan in 1982, and earned her medical degree in 1990 from Sind Medical College, affiliated with the University of Karachi. She is board certified in pediatric medicine and brings over 30 years of clinical experience to care for her patients. Her professional interests include Pediatric Endocrinology in which she completed a three year fellowship, learning to manage Pediatric Obesity, Diabetes, growth disorders, pubertal issues and other endocrine disorders. She speaks English, Urdu, and Hindi well, as well as Medical Spanish, of which she is learning more every day. She likes to walk, travel, explore National Parks, and watch movies and TV.

Over all good experience. Friendly staff and reception. The wait time is often little longer than experience in health care generally. The Dr could listen a little more attentive and explain things without rush.

Office was decent and close to my home. However Dr.Soorty refused to listen to me about my sons health condition that he was diagnosed with in 2024 from previous Doctor. She told me that she would not write Asthma medication without her being the one to diagnose after my son had just gotten out of the emergency room for an asthma attack. When trying to give clear explanation of his history with this issue I was shushed and told that she was not talking to me she was talking to my child, she then told me there was no diagnosis on his ER papers when in fact there was, instead of her admitting her error because she did not look she told me " oh this is where it is for your reference" this happened twice during appointment. Ultimately we left with a referral to pulmonary DR with an appt in JULY so Ill be back and forth to the ER getting medication refills until then due to her turning down medicating him, 2 days after appt kid back in ER. She was not understanding and did not listen.
