Dr. Bokhari acts as Riverside Pediatric Group’s Chief Pediatric Officer – Practice Guidelines & Quality Control. Since joining Riverside Pediatric Group in 1992, Dr. Bokhari has played a critical role in establishing the high standard of excellence that all Riverside doctors abide by in treating our patients. He can be found in our Jersey City office. He graduated from Khyber Medical College in Peshawar Pakistan and completed his residency in Pediatrics at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey in 1992. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Evidence of Dr. Bokhari’s whole-hearted dedication to his patients is his back-to-back recognition by way of the receipt of the “Patient Choice Award” in 2008 and 2009. Dr. Bokhari has a special interest in pediatric allergies and immunization and caring for children with autism. Dr. Bokhari’s philosophy is to spend as much time as needed with each patient, while providing the highest quality medical care. Also, Dr. Bokhari approaches the child from a holistic perspective, combining his extensive medical experience with alternative/complimentary medicine. Dr. Bokhari has been happily married for over 2 years and he is the father to two beautiful daughters and one son. He enjoys music and traveling with his family.
