About Dr. Nakisha Kinlaw

Dr. Nakisha Kinlaw is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and passionate educator dedicated to improving women’s health and expanding healthcare access for underserved communities. With over a decade of clinical and academic experience, she focuses on empowering patients through health education, prevention, and compassionate primary care. Dr. Kinlaw earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Florida Atlantic University. As the owner of Gift Me Health Women’s Primary Care, she provides comprehensive, affordable care to women across the lifespan—especially those from underrepresented backgrounds. Her mission is to inspire a movement where women nurture their aspirations, embrace wellness, and lead healthier, longer lives. Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Kinlaw serves as an Associate Professor and Degree Track Chair for the MSN and Post-MSN DNP Programs at Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is also an active community health consultant, volunteer, and mentor, developing programs that strengthen leadership, faith, and wellness both locally and globally. Dr. Kinlaw believes in meeting patients where they are—listening deeply, educating with compassion, and partnering with them to achieve their best health outcomes.
