He was kind, attentive, and empathetic. Didn’t feel like I was being judged even though due to the nature of these appointments you tend to have to be vulnerable and speak about things that make you uncomfortable. Overall I’m glad I choose him.

Always a good experience. Professional, prompt and respectful of your time. So many doctors make you wait for an hour or even two hours. Dr. Bhutia proves that this doesn't have to happen. Professional front desk staff, and modern appointment system.

I'm glad to have met Dr. Bhutia. He and I didn't see eye to eye on my illness, but over time we ended up having a good connection. Thank you Dr. Bhutia!

Dr.Bhutia is great! I would recommend him if you are looking for an emergent visit or regular follow-ups for prescription. He is efficient and diagnoses quickly. If you are about to your primary visit or looking for physical therapy or alistener, I would recommend you go find some other doctors who are not fully booked.

Five minute appointments or less that are full priced and consist of getting medication filled. No questioning of how you are feeling or really any conversation at all. Always an issue with getting medication also as prescriptions are wrongor forgotten about. Pretty counterproductive to see a doctor for anxiety that causes you anxiety.

Gave me a weeks prescription and referred me to another psychiatrist. Told me to go to the hospital if I have any withdrawals. Very bad care taking considering the other psychiatrist would first have to be available and leaves me onthe ropes not knowing what is next for me. So easy for people who aren’t taking medicine to shun others away.

Beware! This was my first time seeing this doctor. This was the worst experience with a psychiatrist in my life. I told him how I was feeling, he gave no plan, did not make medication adjustments or recommendations. Asked no questionsabout how I was feeling. Asked me was I planning to see a therapist. I was flabbergasted and responded that is why I am here. When I left he told me he would email me a recommendation for a therapist, I have yet to receive the email. I called back no one answered. If you want a prescription without being evaluated this is the place to go. But for anything else go elsewhere.

He wanted to see me in two weeksto see how the meds are working. The office was very pleasant and felt comfortable. Was very happy with my experience.

Dr. Bhutia is great. He has hours that are convenient for working people and he takes you right on time, every time. A refreshing change considering that my previous doctor routinely had patients waiting 90 minutes or more. His assistant isprofessional and pleasant as well, and they text you reminders of your appointment.

He is quick, thoughtful and pays attention to your actual needs. If you want an honest psych who fully intends on helping you on your journey, Dr. Bhatia is your guy. Wait time is usually non-existent. I've maybe waited twice and for 5 minutes at most.

Dr. Bhutia only spoke to me for 15 minutes. He didnt introduce himself to me, nor did he offer any kind of help other than a prescription. He was also on his computer or phone for half of the time Iwas there because he was "having issues" with them. I didnt feel like he really cared about my mental well-being.

Dr. Bhutia is a fantastic psychiatrist - and I've been to many! He is thorough, engaged, very knowledgeable, and took all the time I needed to discuss how things are going and how my medication is working. He also successfully advocatedfor me to get authorization from my insurance company to cover the medication that best treats my symptoms. I was worried about travel time going to queens, but his office is right off the subway and it took me less time to get there than many places in Manhattan. Also, I have not had to wait more than a few minutes to see him which is very different than previous psychiatrist! Great experience - I will absolutely stick with him!

It was my first consult so I will have a better sense of Dr. bhutia by next session. But i was called on time, the staff was very professional amd welcoming. The dr. Answered all my questions and i told himi look forward to speaking with him next session. He is similar to my previous therapist due to his international experience and he speaks many languages, which i favor.

I didn't feel judged by him. I'm young and on a lot of medication which I feel like often leads to my doctors stereotyping me as troubled in that department. However, I'm not and I didn't feel like he jumped tothat conclusion which makes it easier to be open about my other issues. It is a fast process, which works for me. IF, however, you want more of a diagnosis and are confused about your problems, I don't know how that would go. I think it worked for me because I have already done the experimenting with which medicine works best and didn't have questions so much as I need a doctor who isn't judgmental subjective.

I've been seeing Dr. Bhutia every month for a bit over one year since I moved to this area. I liked that I could get an appointment after 5pm and it was right around the corner from my apartment. Unfortunately though, his priority is not with the patient. I didn't mind a 3-minute appointment until he refused to see me every 3 months (as is standard when you've been stable on the same medications for nearly 10 years)- he insisted I come every 2 weeks even after i told him I could not afford that. Dr. Bhutia doesn't write scripts but instead sends your prescriptions over his computer to the pharmacy. That's cool, except when he sends all of your information to the pharmacy incorrectly. He routinely sends my Rx to the wrong pharmacy (today he sent it to the wrong state), and very often in the wrong dosages. Odd, considering he has all of this information on his computer if only he looked at it. Sometimes after my appointments I actually have to remind him to send my refills. I'm very unsatisfied with Dr. Bhutia and feel like he does not even care. I would not recommend him to anyone even if they just needed a quick refill. I'd give him 0 stars if I could.

I have been seeing Dr. Bhutia for several years. If you appreciate a fast and efficient approach to obtaining a script for medication, he is the man for you. Over the years, however, I have required more care and attention inregards to my mental health. Dr. Bhutia is more interested in re-booking as many appointments as possible so he can obtain insurance reimbursement for his 2 minute sessions. Meanwhile, many of his patients (myself included) are looking for care that extends beyond that of a pill-mill. This doctor clearly works for many people, but if you seek a truly genuine and compassionate person to help you, please consider looking elsewhere.

Didn't help me at all. I didn't even get a chance to talk to him about my problems. All he asked me was what prescription I needed and sent me on my way. I thought a psychiatrist was suppose to hearyour problems and then if you need a prescription I need and that was all. He is not helpful at all. I would never go to him again.

The office is extremely unorganized. I've made three appointments here. One was canceled, one was rescheduled for a later date, and one was rescheduled for later in the day, both of which I waited in a waiting room with 4-5 otherpeople for 30-40 minutes because the doctor was "running late" because he "had a meeting"... both times. It appears that the receptionist consistently purposely over books the doctor. I would not recommend this place- go elsewhere where they respect your time.

He was forty minutes late when I finally went into his office he didn't greet me or state his name he just pointed for me to sit down. He asked why I was there I told him and expressed the newconcerns He did not address them and just prescribed what I had already been taking. He was just a mute. When I left there were people just coming in and out of that office as if he was just a pill refill factory. If you know what you need and know how to self medicate then he is the doctor to see. It is very difficult to deal with mental illness and it's hard when you have to explain personal emotional issues to someone you know just wants to rush you along to get the next dollar
