About Nancy Azar

I am a dietitian, with over 25 years of experience, who is especially skilled in weight management, diabetes, and heart heath. As a former overweight child and adult with diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol, I bring a unique set of skills to our sessions. I have been where you are and can get you to the other side. I with share with you all my weight loss tips and tricks to help you decrease your medications or get off them, like I was able to do. I have helped clients who are on the new weight loss medications, lose the most weight without losing muscle. Also, I have helped clients who had started the weight loss medication but had to get off due to the side effect. When you start the weight loss medications and have to stop, it is very difficult not to gain the weight back. But don't worry, we got this! I hold a master's degree in nutrition and dietetics. I wrote my thesis on binge eating that won an award at the Ohio Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. I have experience working in a bariatric clinic, endocrinologist office, and also have experience working as a hospital clinical dietitian.
