After a short time in private practice, I joined Evanston Hospital Department of Psychiatry from 1985 to 2007. During that time, I attended the Family Institute, now connected to Northwestern University. In 2007 I returned to private practice but remain on the Professional Staff at Evanston Hospital. I provide an interactive, supportive, compassionate involved atmosphere for my individual clients and couples while helping them work out their problems and concerns. My areas of focus are depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationships as well as many other areas. We primarily work together on goals, functioning and change issues. As a generalist, I use a variety of approaches to help them discover and develop their best ways of growing and finding fulfillment.
