“When I was finally seeing, I felt very comfortable with the staff the doctor was very nice and very pleasant and made me feel at ease. My only downside to the appointment was I wish I was seeing a little sooner that’s why I made an advanced appointment. Other than that, it’s always been a great experience there, clean , great staff, the doctors are wonderful.”

“I arrived with my son for an urgent care visit. Front desk staff were very nice and easy going. It was not a long wait at all. After completing required info - it was about 30 mins wait maximum - which is great for urgent care in Astoria! Provider listened to my son, was patient, and followed what his choice for was for his provided treatment options. It really has been the best experience we’ve had with an urgent care. Would definitely recommend! ”

Couldn’t get blood drawn by MA/PA or doctor.
Both arms hurt from trying to get blood drawn
Nó prescriptions to be found at my local CVS/ I told them last time they sent it there they completely misspelled my first and last name.
After one hour at the Ditmars CVS and several calls to NAO, the pharmacist felt bad for me and decided to call them to no answer.
Got to NAO at 8am, and It’s 1pm and I got no meds or help from NAO. Be aware.

My appointment was confirmed.I reached around 8:50 I saw they put the notice on the door that they were closed for today.
I don’t understand if they were closed why did they took my appointment it is just waist of time.

No one was there. The door posted hours of 8 to 4, but it was locked. I tried again at 9, still locked. I made an appointment for 9:25, no one was there, office still locked.
I went to a City MD instead.

I was charged for services that were never provided. The front desk staff assured me I would be reimbursed, but the next day I received a call saying there would be no reimbursement. When I requested to speak with the manager, I was told they would contact me, but I never heard back. It’s incredibly disappointing that they failed to honor the commitment made by their employee. I strongly advise you to save your money and seek care elsewhere.

In the future I’d try a different urgent care. I had the first appt of the day and wasn’t seen for almost an hour. Doctor asked me the same questions over and over again as well.

Terrible experience. I tried to go the previous 2 days before I was actually seen, booked an appointment and they were closed both times. I finally am able to be seen and they end up double charging my co payment. I’ve tried to reach out to them multiple times since and they say they are looking into it but I still haven’t gotten my money back from the double charge. Most offices would be able to process the refund quickly but I think they are just ignoring me to see if I’ll forget.

'This review is not against the doctor at all since I was not able to be seen. After waiting over an hour (and I had an appointment), the front desk person told me I wasn't in the system and that I would have to call my insurance to get approved. I have been to Nao several times since 2020 and my insurance has not changed. It was Sunday and I couldn't get through to anyone because no one picks up after business hours. The front desk person was pretty dismissive and didn't even address me when I told him I couldn't get through to my insurance. I wasted a whole hour there. Also, the staff person told me they were understaffed that day so that's why he was stressed. I left and walked to City MD and I overheard their front person staff say the same thing when I walked in but she was pleasant and was able to get me in quickly. I saw a doctor in under 25 minutes! Never again, Nao. City MD was professional, polite and quick. Above all, they talked to me with dignity and empathy, unlike Nao.
