Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
15 E Churchville Rd, #106, Bel Air, MD
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of advanced practice experience. I began my career as a Family Nurse Practitioner before earning my post-master’s certification in psychiatry from the University of Cincinnati. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, as well as geriatric and long-term care settings, caring for individuals with a wide range of mental health needs. I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, personality disorders, and other complex psychiatric conditions. My background also includes working with older adults experiencing dementia-related behavioral and emotional symptoms. My primary focus is medication management, but I believe meaningful mental health treatment goes beyond prescribing medication. I take a collaborative approach that combines evidence-based medication management with supportive therapy, education, and practical coping skills. My goal is to help patients better understand themselves, improve daily functioning, and create lasting emotional stability. I believe therapy can exist without medication—but medication should never exist without support, reflection, and personal growth. I value honesty, openness, and active participation in treatment, and I work best with individuals who are willing to engage in the process, even when it feels difficult. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Some of the most rewarding parts of my work are seeing people gain insight, build confidence, regain stability, and reach a place they once didn’t think was possible.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
