Dr. Fazel is also the founding director of the HIV lipodystrophy clinic at UC Davis, focused on treating patients with Sculptra to improve their facial esthetics and help them regain their confidence to lead healthy social lives. Dr. Fazel is passionate about philanthropy having served on the Board of Directors of a non-profit organization that provides scholarships for graduating high school students in Kenya. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and pursuing new interests such as mountaineering.
