Getting to know Nastassia Ragoonan
Do simple everyday tasks seem physically and mentally daunting? Have you considered that your mental health might be suffering? As a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I have seen firsthand the effects mental and physical health can have on one another.
I earned my Associate's degree from Miami Dade College, my Bachelor's from Kennesaw State University, and my Master's in Family Nursing from the University of Miami. My goal is to help you feel like your best self. I encourage my clients to seek therapy to build a solid foundation first when possible. Studies report that combining psychotherapy and medication is significantly superior to either treatment alone. As a clinician, I pride myself on not overprescribing medication and including my clients in their individualized treatment plans.
As my client, you will feel respected and listened to. Life is challenging enough. Together, we will reach the pinnacle of your mental well-being.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Your first session will be an opportunity to discuss your questions and concerns regarding your mental health. If you are a candidate for medication, we will create a plan together and follow up routinely to ensure that you are on the right path.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
