About Dr. Natacha Tessono
Natacha Tessono, MD is a Long Island native who grew up as part of a large and loving family. Dr.Tessono believes in providing quality care to her patients with a proactive and empathetic approach.
Dr.Tessono completed her bachelor of Biomedical Science as part of the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education in New York City and went on to graduate from Albany Medical College as a Medical Doctor. She completed a 4 year combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Rutgers NJ Medical School in 2014. Dr.Tessono enjoys servicing patients ages 7 and over. She has been working in Family Medicine as well as nursing homes for over 10 years.

Recently changed insurances & was terrified to choose a new pcp. Dr. Tessono was super helpful in helping me understand my heath, was patient explaining things. Took my concerns seriously & ordered all tests needed to r/o if anything was amiss. Very thorough. Wait time was a little long, but it was worth it to see her. Very happy to choose her as my new pcp

I had a great experience at this office. The staff was professional, courteous, and efficient from check-in to check-out. Based on the reviews, we were hopeful that the practice would be a good fit for our family (including our 2 young adult children). Although initial visits were satisfactory, I was shocked to learn that we were both charged (via our insurance), for services never received. Specifically, although told that our initial visits were just that, we were charged for annual physicals (which we were not yet due for), which included a variety of services not provided. I found out about my charges, when I showed up for what I thought was my physical last week, only to be told that I had had one already. Upon checking my EOB, I was shocked!
I initially chalked the confusion up to poor office management, Dr. Tessono herself did not seem phased by the occurrence, nor did she offer an apology for the misunderstanding. This demonstrates to me that this is likely a common practice at this office. We will not be returning!

Dr. Tessono was really great. She listened carefully to all my concerns, was willing to address them all and explained things in detail. Hard to find a doctor these days that actually listens and takes their time. Glad to have found my new PCP.

I have extremely hard to find veins, my phlebotomist was excellent, I didn’t feel a thing! The office used a vein finder which you don’t see in other practices! I’m normally a human pin cushion, but not this time!
This was my very first visit with Dr. Tessano. She was very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. After the visit, I told my sister about her, who will now use her as a PCP well!

Dr. Tessono or Dr. T as she is so endearingly known as in the office made me feel right at home with talking about myself, my health concerns and reservations. She shared things about herself that made me feel as if I were talking to a friend, better yet a cousin. I found her on ZocDoc and chose her cause her smile seemed inviting and genuine she said during my appointment “ You’re picker is right!”. Dr Tessono is great. i had one primary care doctor from a little after he started his practice till he retired. After he retired i couldn’t find a doctor as good until i found Dr Tessono. Besides being extremely knowledgeable and thoroughshe is pleasant , friendly, takes time to listen to why your there and answer your questions. i feel as relaxed and confident when i see her as i did with Dr Dash who i was with till he retired
