Getting to know Natali Frisby

I am committed to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, grief, and major life transitions. Over the past six years, I’ve provided therapy to children and adults, including extensive work with children in foster care and adoption. For more than eleven years, I’ve supported families in strengthening communication, building healthier connections, and creating space for healing and growth. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflict, offering CBT, mindfulness, and attachment-based approaches to help clients gain clarity, build coping skills, and improve connection. My work centers on creating a supportive, collaborative space for meaningful growth. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I’m committed to creating a space where you feel supported and understood. Together, we can explore the thought patterns that shape your emotions, strengthen communication, and gently process difficult experiences. My work focuses on nurturing self-worth, confidence, and connection. It takes courage to begin this journey, and I’m honored to walk alongside you. I’m here to offer a warm, supportive space where we can explore challenging thoughts, improve communication, and work through difficult experiences. My focus is on helping you build confidence, self-esteem, and a stronger sense of self-worth. Reaching out takes courage, and I’d be honored to join you in that process.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic approach is warm, individualized, and grounded in empathy. I strive to create a space where you feel supported, respected, and truly heard. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you explore your experiences, build insight, and move toward the version of yourself you want to become. I meet clients exactly where they are, honoring their pace and their strengths. My work is rooted in compassion, sensitivity, and a deep respect for each person’s story. Together, we may explore thought patterns that shape your emotions, strengthen communication, process difficult experiences, and nurture self-worth, confidence, and resilience. Creativity is also an important part of my practice. I enjoy drawing, crocheting, painting, and sewing, and I often incorporate art-based coping skills for clients who find expression and grounding through creative work. Currently, I see clients through telehealth and aim to create a calm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where you can show up as your full self. My hope is that you feel safe, understood, and empowered throughout our work together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is grounded in creating a safe, calm, and non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. In our first sessions, I take time to get to know you—your story, your strengths, your challenges, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I believe you are the expert of your own life, so we move at your pace and collaborate on goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you. As we continue working together, we explore the thought patterns, emotions, and experiences that shape your daily life. I draw from approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, attachment-based work, and a strengths-focused, relational lens. This allows us to look at both the internal and relational factors that influence how you feel and how you connect with others. Our work may include strengthening communication skills, processing difficult or overwhelming experiences, and building self-worth, confidence, and emotional resilience. I also enjoy incorporating creative, art-based coping skills—such as drawing, painting, or other expressive activities—for clients who find grounding and clarity through creativity. Throughout the process, I aim to meet you with compassion, respect, and sensitivity. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, parenting stress, or major life transitions, my goal is to support you in feeling understood, empowered, and capable of meaningful change. Currently, I see clients through telehealth, and I work intentionally to make our virtual space feel warm, welcoming, and supportive. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel safe to explore, grow, and reconnect with the strongest and most authentic version of yourself.
