About Natalie Faustyn

Medicare provides some coverage for nutrition services related to Diabetes and Renal Disease only. Services provided for any other diagnosis or condition are not covered by Medicare and will have an out of pocket cost due at the time of service. Natalie is a certified specialist in sports dietetics and spent the last six years working with student-athletes at NC State University as the Director of Sports Nutrition. She enjoys helping people of ages and abilities connect with food to meet performance goals as well as better understand how to nourish their bodies. Natalie approaches each client with an individual perspective, meeting them where they are and tailoring interventions to meet their needs. Natalie earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science and a minor in Sports Science from NC State University. She earned her Master of Science in Nutrition Science from Meredith College, and completed her dietetic internship with Be Well Solutions in Cleveland, Ohio. After her dietetic internship she worked in an outpatient setting before shifting back into the performance space. Natalie is a registered dietitian through the Commission of Dietetic Registration and a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist through the North Carolina Board of Dietetics/Nutrition. She is also an active member of the American Sports and Performance Dietitians Association. Outside of work Natalie enjoys crafting and spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs. They love going for walks and visiting local breweries and parks around Raleigh.
