I am a speech therapist practicing neurological rehabilitation. I have been practicing since 2005 and love working at a neuro specialty clinic because it allows me to use my knowledge, skills, and experience to hopefully improve the lives of the patients I work with. It is both challenging and rewarding to work with people during such difficult and pivotal times in their lives. I cherish the connections I get to make with patients on their pathways to recovery; that is absolutely the best part of my job. I love setting goals with patients and helping them figure out how to achieve those goals. I grew up in Pocatello, Idaho, but have called Salt Lake City home since 2009, and I love this beautiful place! I enjoy reading and try to spend as much time as I can with my husband and in nature with our dog, Fitzwilliam. I have been a runner for many years and have run many races of various distances. I really enjoy the challenge, and although I am not fast, I have learned that if you just keep moving, you eventually get to the finish line!
