About Dr. Natalie Toke
Dr. Toke has been receiving chiropractic care since she was a child for various conditions over the years, which led to her knowing she wanted to work in healthcare from a very young age.
In 2018, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University with a Bachelors in Genetics and a minor in Spanish. During her time at Rutgers, Dr. Toke volunteered at the local Children’s Specialized Hospital and completed extensive research in Dr. Michael Verzi’s laboratory, which resulted in seven publications to various scientific journals.
In her senior year of college, Dr. Toke decided that in order to not only help to alleviate patients’ symptoms, but also to help her patients reach their functional best, that she would pursue her Doctorate at the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic. In 2022, Dr. Toke graduated Summa Cum Laude as the Class Valedictorian, as well as the recipient of the Director’s Award. Her efforts for tutoring her peers, assisting in teaching clinical neurology to chiropractic students, and serving as the Student Government Association President from 2020-21 earned her the Richard E. Vincent DC Student Leadership Award. Dr. Toke also completed clinical rotations at the Community Health Center in Stamford and the West Haven Veterans Affairs Medical Center in addition to being an intern at the school’s clinic, which earned her the Clinical Excellence Award.
Since graduating, Dr. Toke has become a member of the Geriatric Advisory Council for Somerset/Hunterdon Counties. She also became a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is certified in the Webster Technique.
Dr. Toke is excited to be in Bound Brook, NJ at the same location that she was first introduced to chiropractic. Besides treating patients and staying up to date on neuromusculoskeletal research publications, Dr. Toke enjoys being outdoors, weightlifting, playing the piano, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her dog, Arya.
