Natalie Wilkinson, FNP

Family Nurse Practitioner
3811 E Bell Rd, Ste 103, Phoenix, AZ
Natalie began her nursing career in 2009 as a Nursing Assistant and obtained her RN license in 2012. From the beginning, she knew she wanted to specialize in wound care. After gaining experience as an acute care RN, she transitioned into the role of wound nurse at the hospital, working alongside experienced wound care nurses and providers. This hands-on experience deepened her knowledge and fueled her passion for the specialty. She later became Wound Care Certified (WCC) and enrolled in a Nurse Practitioner program with the goal of continuing her focus in wound management. During her training, Natalie completed several clinical rotations with Dr. Dhillon, which gave her the opportunity to gain valuable higher-level wound care experience. In 2016, she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Having previously worked with Dr. Dhillon at the Acute Long-Term Care Facility and during her rotations, continuing her career with him felt like a natural progression. She completed a hyperbaric training course and became Hyperbaric Certified in 2019. Natalie remains dedicated to expanding her clinical knowledge by attending conferences and seminars. She authored and presented abstracts with posters at the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) in Las Vegas in 2022, 2023, and 2024. When not at work with her “work family,” Natalie enjoys time with her son, dogs, and horses. She spends as much time as possible outdoors and competes in equestrian three-day eventing multiple times a year. Her goal is to continue attending annual conferences to stay current on evidence-based wound healing therapies and provide gold-standard care for her patients.
