Dr. Natasha Fuksina, Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, received her B.A. in Biology from New York University, New York, and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College, Albany, New York.
Raised in a family of physicians, dentists, and scientists, Dr. Fuksina knew from a young age that her passion was clinical medicine. She shadowed her father during ICU rounds and her mother in her biochemistry research lab.
In her practice, she utilizes an Integrative Internal Medicine approach by identifying the underlying causes of disease and combining traditional and functional medicine recommendations to restore health and function. Advanced metabolic, genetic, and food sensitivity testing, along with body composition analysis, are used alongside conventional laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Dr. Fuksina's goal is to help her patients reach their personal healthiest best and, in some cases, to help them defy their genes by modifying the expression of unhealthy genes they carry.
When not working or attending medical conferences, she spends time with her husband and two children, ensuring she passes on a love of lifelong learning to them. Although classically trained in piano for eight years, she passionately enjoys any song or dance with Latin or tango rhythm.
She speaks fluent Spanish and Russian, which helps her establish a special bond with her non-English-speaking patients.

I liked her very much. She seemed caring and smart. All my questions were answered and she was transparent about different health and wellness services she provides without being pushy to explore any. A rare find. Dr Fuksina is the most competent and thorough GP I’ve had in recent memory. She takes a very holistic approach that includes a wide and nuanced understanding of modern mental health care (rare for a GP or internist). She doesn’t rush patients through appointments and is a very attentive and sympathetic listener. She’s big on tests and conservative with prescriptions because, again, hers is a more holistic big-picture approach. Great conversationalist, extremely smart, witty and likable. Have recommended several family members and friends.

Dr. Fuksina is not only kind, respectful, and a superb listener, she's sharp as a tack. As someone from the medical field, I was impressed by her comprehensive, accurate, and rapid understanding of my situation. I barely had to even describe my symptoms; five minutes after I started she was already predicting various other symptoms and comorbidities before I said anything, and she was 100 percent correct. For years I found myself in situations where I practically had to be my own doctor, studying and explaining everything because a doctor would know very little about my condition. Not so with Dr. Fuksina. She's an encyclopedia. For the first time in my life I've met a doctor in whom I can confidently assert that she really has a deep and comprehensive knowledge of her field, but never gave me the sense that she was talking down to me. There was a bit of a wait time, but for someone so skilled it's no surprise that she's in high demand. If I could've rated 6 stars out of 5 I would've.

I went for a basic physical had to wait for an hour which was fine, but then once I actually got into my appointment the doctor just asked me a bunch of questions, took my weight and my blood pressure and that was it. They wanted me to come back two more times to finish my physical (blood work, follow up from blood work). I feel like they were just trying to get as many appointments to make more money. The office wasn't very nice, and the service didn't seem very competent either.

Dr. Fuksina is a godsend. she is very attentive, thorough and is a doctor that actually cares about what her patients are going through. I've never had a GP experience this great! I am definitely coming back. The only drawback is that her office is very busy. despite having a fixed appointment time, and I arrived 15 minutes early as requested, I ended up waiting close to an hour to be seen. Triage was quick but waited another 20 minutes before I was seen by the doctor. They're very busy. But after the visit, I suppose seeing Dr. Fuksina is well worth the wait as she is not rushing through your visit to see another patient.

Dr. Fuksina is very nice, very knowledgeable and never made me feel bad about my health mistakes. Unfortunately, the woman who works at the front desk needs customer service training badly. She comes off very harsh and likes to debate whether or not she has told you something. I would hear how she would talk to the people on the phone and in person . At first I thought ok this is tough love or something, but no it's just disrespect. She doesn't know how to talk to people. I hate having to deal with her in order to see the doctor. Therefore I will not be back.
A couple more things I didn't like about my visits to the office....
- It was snowing, I called an hour before my visit to confirm if Dr. Fuksina would be in the office. They confirmed she would be. I go to my appointment and wait 40 mins and then a random doctor came in to review my test results. No warning. No explanation of where Dr. Fuksina was. He was very nice but I didn't want to see another doctor outside of Dr. Fuksina. They didn't give me a choice. I left confused.
-Alot of other doctor offices will give you results over the phone or online. Not this office. I had to make an appointment and wait 3 weeks for results. No one told me if and where I could access them online. I had to make an appointment.

Doctor was both concise and precise with her handling of issues. Every paperwork in respect of the visit had been sent prior giving no room for time wasting. Overall staff were very helpful ,friendly and respectful

I wanted her as my primary physician, and I'm not so sure anymore. When you call to ask about your health questions, you are told that doctor is very busy and not sure when she will get back to you. If I can't ask urgent health questions to doctor who has my health record and history, I'm not sure why I'm here. I heard two different results of my blood work from different nurses at the clinic. Plus I felt like nobody there really cared about my health. Order bunch of tests but no solid consultation on what I should do with my health. Also I was told one thing my first visit but told differently next time I visited. I cried coming out of the clinic because after all that back and forth, I felt lost and uncared for.

The doctor and team were very thorough and detail oriented. They listened to everything attentively and were able to provide solutions by taking the next step immediately. I truly loved that Dr. Fuksina Was very kind and was not rushing thru her appointment. She takes the time to give you her undivided attention.
