“Nate is very kind and professional, and has been great at addressing my concerns. I initially just booked with him because I needed a medication refilled, but he was still so thorough and helpful in our first meeting that I decided to keep coming back. I feel like I’m making real progress since then! I’d definitely recommend him to anyone who has never done in-depth therapy and needs a comfortable place to start.”

What should a new client know about working with you?

It is especially gratifying for me to help people live happier, healthier lives by overcoming depression, anxiety, OCD, and other mental health challenges that impact quality of life. If you want to get to the root cause of your mental health condition and develop a plan to improve your life, I would love to work together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My first appointment with you will be a 90-minute comprehensive bio-psycho-social-spiritual evaluation so I can get to know you and understand the contributors to your mental health concerns. Nathan Zurcher actively listens and asks pertinent questions that make it clear that he understands and not only cares about his patient's needs but about them as a person . I look forward to my appointments with him every time.
My primary provider of over ten years retired recently and I have had to seek out a new one. So far this doc been the only provider who has been willing to actually listen to me and understand the situation, while other providers during my search have been judgmental, condescending, lecturing, and hypocritical. This doc has been very patient and kind so far.

Nathan Zurcher is absolutely amazing. He is the perfect blend of professional and personable. His calming, gentle demeanor puts us at ease, and my son always feels listened to and heard. His keen insights are spot on, and his expertise dealing with ADHD has been incredibly valuable for us after years of struggles. We are forever grateful that we found Nathan to help us navigate some really tricky situations.

I was so worried about seeing a new doctor after having so many negative experiences in the past. But Nate is fantastic. He listened without judgement, asked questions for clarification when needed, and was never condescending or callous. He listened to my concerns, took me seriously, and helped plan a treatment that has been genuinely helpful. And that's how every appointment has been. I went into this expecting to have to fight and advocate for myself just to get basic care, and I walked out recommending him, without hesitation or qualification, to everyone I meet who needs the services he offers.

I really like this doctor. He actually listens and takes his time instead of just throwing meds at me. We’re switching me off my current medication and I feel good about it because he took his time to listen to me, process and then recommend. I appreciate that he’s focused on my overall health, not just fixing one thing and sending me on my way. As someone who has battled with mental health most of my life, this is the first Dr I felt actually took their time and didn’t just use a bandaid to fix a wound that needs stitches.

Nate is great. He’s had a very quiet confident presence that encourages an open dialogue. Nate is also a geat listener who has fabulous insight. He has helped me a ton with my mental health journey.
I can’t say enough good things about Nate. He’s thoughtful, patient, and genuinely listens. I’ve had experiences in the past where I felt dismissed or rushed, but with him, I actually feel heard. He never pushes me in a direction that triggers my anxiety or makes me feel overwhelmed — instead, he works with me at my pace, which makes such a difference. It’s clear he really cares about his patients and their comfort. I finally feel like I have someone on my side when it comes to my mental health. Highly recommend.

Nathan Zurcher is everything you expect and hope for in a practitioner. He is attentive, kind, listens with the intent to understand you, and is interested in your long-term health and personal well-being. Thank you for taking great care of our family.
It's clear to me that Nate genuinely cares and puts a lot of thought into any recommendation or decision he makes. Rather than just following a blanket protocol, he takes the whole person into consideration and thinks about their needs, wants, and life situation. I've seen Nate for years now and can easily say he's one of the best & most attentive doctors I've seen. He's easy to talk to, nonjudgmental, and seems to take my whole history into consideration which I really appreciate. Beyond all this, it's also evident that Nate is very knowledgeable about his specialty area.
He goes above and beyond. He’s been exHe is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. He has been incredibly attentive and proactive for our son’s medication needs. Highly recommend!
My visit with Nathan Zurcher was amazing and absolutely gratifying as usual. He's quite literally the only specialist I've ever had the pleasure of seeing for years thats made me feel comfortable enough to speak openly and freely about my mental health experiences. Not only has this individual helped me overcome many of my comfort zone issues but also helped me discontinue the needs of certain things. I always anticipate our next meeting and next conversation.
I am very impressed with Dr. Zurcher. He is very focused on his patients and helping them get the help they need. He genuinely cares and really takes the time to understand my needs. I definently felt heard and respected. I would recommend Dr. Zurcher to anyone. 10/10.
