Getting to know Dr. Neha Menon

Hi, and welcome. I’m a NY & NJ Licensed Clinical Psychologist offering psychotherapy for children (ages 3+), teens, families, and adults. Currently, I practice at Bryant West Psychology, PLLC, in midtown Manhattan, offering both virtual and in-person visits. What should a new client know about working with you?

During therapy, you may at times feel tender or challenged, as our process often invites vulnerability. In those times, we’ll partner together to ensure you or your child feels seen, supported, and better prepared to meet what life brings. To me, treatment isn’t about having all the answers, but about discovering what answers work for and with you. In connection, we find understanding. And in understanding, we find change. I’d be honored to walk alongside you or your child as we follow the threads of insight, healing, and growth—together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In psychotherapy, I meet children, teens, and adults struggling with behavioral outbursts, mood challenges, and life stressors. For children, therapy may take the form of play, imagination, and creativity. For parents, therapy can enhance your child’s coping and communication skills while also empowering you in your caregiving role. For teens and adults, it may invite deeper reflection, insight, and exploration of your relationships. I also believe that who we are, including our identities, values, and lived experiences, shapes how we navigate the world. I welcome and honor all aspects of you in our time together.

More information on payments and coverage

Bryant West Psychology works with most insurance plans (whether in-network or out-of-network) to make the financials easy, hassle-free, and paper-work-free for you. We can bill your insurance for you, and you can pay us any deductibles and co-pays by credit card or through Zelle, as well as the old-fashioned ways, such as check or cash. In-Network: Our clinicians are providers in the following networks: Aetna and its affiliated insurances (Allied Benefit Systems - Aetna, Christian Brothers Services - Aetna, Health Scope - Aetna, Meritain, Nippon, Trustmark ) and student health insurance at NYU, Columbia, New School, Fordham, FIT, and Pratt. Your insurance company sets our fees, co-pays, and deductibles, making our services more affordable when you're in-network. We will discuss this with you. Out-of-Network: We bill all insurance companies, such as United Health Care, Oxford, Cigna, Blue Cross/Shield, and Beacon (to name a few). Depending on your plan, your insurance may pay up to 80% of our fee (and sometimes more). We will do our best to work with you to make payment arrangements that won't break the bank—that is, your bank.
