My name is Neil Wilson. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Board Certified. I have been practicing for over 5 years and I have my Full-Practice Authority in the state of Illinois. I see clients from 5-years-old to older adults. I use a commonsense approach to mental healing, balance, and recovery. I teach and manage medications, so that, my clients understand the nature of trying to get better. What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical beginning always starts with listenings. Listening is a skill. Client needs and how clients want his/her plan of care is important. I embrace what the client needs are: someone to talk with, medication management, direction, guidance, and therapy. This is how clients find confidence in their provider.
