I went in for a yearly physical, most of the appointment was ok except for the fact that they keep the building really cold, I guess to save in heating costs.
What that resulted in was my veins being retracted because of the cold temperature, and when it came to the blood drawing, the phlebotomist kept missing my veins in both arms and hand. Five days after my appointment, I still have needle bruises in my arm, inch and a half away from the puncture site, because the phlebotomist kept retracting and reinserting the needle looking for and missing the vein repeatedly in my arm. It got to the point I got light headed, which never has happened before.
After trying both arms and hand, the phlebotomist couldn’t get enough blood, and told me to come back another day.
I’ll come back, just not to that location.
I wish I could upload pictures of the bruises on my arm to show how bad it was.

I wasn’t aware this was through a concierge doctor’s office with a pricey membership fee. They let you have a free 30 day trial, but I likely won’t be back again. They took me to a room and did my vitals immediately, but I waited about 30 mins to see the doctor and another 15-20 to get blood work. Dr. Singh was nice, but saw me for 2 minutes total and seems to rush through the visit. She also wasn’t the provider I originally selected. The staff were kind and friendly but the experience was not at all what I expected.
