Dr. Nelya Lobkova is an ABPM (American Board of Podiatric Medicine) Certified Surgical Podiatrist and founder of Step Up Footcare in Downtown New York City. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Lobkova completed her internship at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital and her residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital. She received extensive training in all facets of podiatric medicine and surgery, with an emphasis on diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Lobkova is committed to providing her patients with the most exceptional and compassionate treatment of all foot and ankle ailments. As an avid athlete and New York Road Runners member, she has a particular passion for diagnosing and treating sports injuries commonly experienced by runners, skiers, and bikers. She specializes in the latest running and biking techniques and is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP).
