About Nguyen Vu
Nguyen Vu, PA-C, is a board-certified family physician assistant at Virginia Family Medicine. She earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and holds a Bachelor's degree from Emory University. Nguyen Vu is thoughtful, kind, and considerate. I am transgender, and I have a complex psychiatric history, evident from my medication list. Sometimes people like me face extra difficulties obtaining medical care, but Nguyen Vu treats me with the same respect and care as any other patient. She even asked respectful, considerate questions to understand my experience as a transgender person, something I appreciate. I'm a little awkward too and she rolls with it. I would recommend her to patients similar to myself, and in my opinion her bedside manner is quite good, and helps alleviate the anxiety I tend to have around medical appointments. She makes an effort to understand, appreciate, and connect with me as a patient, and that effort pays off. I'm not planning on switching providers any time soon :)

She was so rude and not helpful at all. It was a complete waste of time. She did not show concern for the issues I was presenting and has no bedside manner. I would never recommend her or her practice.
