The PA who first spoke to me in the exam room was amazing, Dr Florio was fantastic and had a great in depth conversation with me about my medical history, concerns, goals, and our path to get there, even the woman who just briefly came in to give me a shot was kind and welcoming. I was incredibly nervous about seeing a doctor as I haven't seen a real doctor in ages but Dr Florio and his team had me leaving the office completely shocked by the experience I had. Not in 33 years of life have I ever left a doctor's appointment feeling seen and optimistic about my path to wellness until today. I cannot thank him and his team enough and genuinely look forward to my return visit.”

About Dr. Nick Florio
Dr. Nick Florio is a board-certified family physician who provides primary care to patients of all ages with an emphasis on preventative care and evidence-based medicine in a friendly and relaxed environment. Having been a volunteer firefighter, he has a passion for caring for first responders. Dr. Florio received his Bachelor of Science degree from Iona University and then went on to earn his medical degree from the Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, N.J. He has served as a clinical assistant professor at The Larner College of Medicine at The University of Vermont, and at Ross University School of Medicine. Prior to joining WPHPA, Dr. Florio was a family physician at Nuvance Health Medical Group in Ridgefield, CT.

Dr. Florio was really great. I hadn’t been to see a doctor in a long time & was very nervous. He took a very long time discussing everything with me about my history and putting me at ease. Made sure I would see the right doctors for my problems after I left, gave me the referrals, prescriptions and instructions for what to do next. I left feeling MUCH better than when I went in. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The office was clean. The staff at the front desk were very polite and attentive. I didn’t have to fill out a bunch of forms when I arrived. I waited about 10min before the nurse walked me to the back. Dr Nick Florio was very informative. He listened carefully to everything I described leading up to this appt. Based on that information and his analysis, he was able to get things going in the right direction. This will be my new primary Dr. Moving forward. The prescription was also sent to the correct pharmacy.
