About Nicole Ayer

Nicole became interested in nutrition while attending Clemson University, where she earned her bachelor's degree. Her dad was going through the process of getting bariatric surgery and would meet periodically with a dietitian who helped him make diet and lifestyle changes that eventually transformed his life. Nicole saw firsthand how nutrition can truly make you feel your best, inside and out. She went on to earn her master's degree in Nutrition at Augusta University. Nicole currently works as a clinical inpatient dietitian at a rehabilitation hospital. She sees many patients with complex medical needs such as strokes, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, wounds, chronic kidney disease, weight loss, weight gain, bone fractures, and many others. Nicole believes that lifestyle changes and habit building are fundamental to achieving goals. She also believes they should be individualized and tailored to each client. She is most passionate and experienced in weight loss, weight management, chronic disease management and prevention (diabetes, heart disease, obesity), and general wellbeing. Nicole is excited to start this journey with you!
