About Nicole DeStefano

Hello, my name is Nicole, and I'm a registered dietitian who believes in the power of delicious and nutritious food to nourish the body. My academic journey began at the University of Pittsburgh, where I earned my Master's in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services. But realistically, it started much earlier-in the kitchen with my Italian immigrant mother. From a young age, I learned to cook and developed a love for preparing meals for others. Nicole was super professional yet I felt very comfortable with our initial conversation. It started with me sharing what I normally eat and what my health and blood records reveal so we could try to improve my current health habits. She gave suggestions and because she listened to my reaction, she then made further suggestions that seemed easier and more realistic to my current taste palet. After my first conversation with Nicole and taking notice of what I eat, I am more mindful about my choices when eating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Nicole was great to work with. She is very knowledgeable and had many good suggestions for us to try as we work towards more nutritional meals.
