As a seasoned Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience specializing in mental health, I am driven by a passion and mission to alleviate ADHD symptoms and combat mental health stigma in the U.S.
My healthcare journey began with a commitment to understanding the complexities of the human mind. I earned my Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Jacksonville University, equipping me with advanced knowledge and skills for comprehensive care. Throughout my career, I have witnessed the profound impact mental health disorders, especially ADHD, have on individuals and families. This ignited my determination to make a tangible difference.
I believe treating ADHD is not just about prescribing medication; it’s about providing clarity and focus to help individuals thrive. I see ADHD medication as glasses for the brain—just as glasses enhance vision, medication enables clear thinking and effective performance. Without it, cognitive abilities may blur, causing concentration difficulties, poor attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity.
I am aware of the pervasive stigma around mental health, which impedes seeking help and perpetuates misconceptions and discrimination. I am committed to challenging these norms and advocating for acceptance, understanding, and access to care.
Beyond clinical practice, I engage in community outreach, educational programs, and advocacy to destigmatize mental health and promote well-being. I believe fostering acceptance and support can break barriers and create a more inclusive, compassionate society.

In addition to my clinical practice, I am actively involved in community outreach initiatives, educational programs, and advocacy efforts aimed at destigmatizing mental health and promoting mental well-being for all. I firmly believe that by fostering a culture of acceptance and support, we can break down barriers and create a more inclusive and compassionate society.
In pursuit of my mission, I remain steadfast in my commitment to advancing the field of mental health care and advocating for the rights and dignity of individuals with ADHD. What is your typical process for working with clients?
In an initial evaluation, you will have 60-75 minutes for a full evaluation which includes assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and treatment planning. If you have not been diagnosed with ADHD, you will be offered to take a FDA-approved ADHD test to aid in the diagnosis process. The DSM-5 and other screening tools will also be utilized in the assessment and diagnosis process.
Previously diagnosed adults with ADHD will also be offered testing to evaluate how well current medication is working. You will also benefit from a full evaluation.
Follow up appointments will consist of 15 minute medication review visits.
The best part is, all appointments are done completely virtual, including testing for you convenience.
