Convenient location, pleasant friendly staff, and Dr. Maldonado introduced me to some new diagnostic technology that I found interesting, and reassured me that I was getting a great exam.

Went in twice for some minor eye pain and both times office staff had trouble getting my insurance info in order, ended up with a huge bill a few days later that I need to short out. On one visit the Dr. Maldonado didn’t even show up and I sat in the exam room for 45min till another doctor came wondering in to see me. Long story shot I don’t see myself returning or recommending this practice to anyone.

Dr. Maldonado is friendly and great at explaining everything. Dr. Maldonado apologized for the long wait, however it took almost 2 hours to be seen. I do not think I have ever waited so long for an eye exam.

She was very thorough and made sure to explain some of the nuances of what she was doing and why I was having the issue I had with my old prescription (which was written by a different doctor). She also thoroughly examined my scans and made honest recommendations. She spent a good amount of time with me and I didn't feel rushed out, even though I was one of the last appointments of the day.

I went for my annual eye exam and for colored contacts. The eye exam was fine, but the sitting for the contacts was a bit unprofessional. When I had decided on the color, I was offered only one colored contact and I was not told to leave the contact on for the doctor to assess. I went back into the doctors office. The doctor came in and realized I had no contacts in. I had to go back to the previous room and put contacts back on.
The assistants should be better trained on communication. If you’re trying on contacts, leave them on until the doctor sees you.

Dr. Maldonado was very generous, informative, helpful, and reassuring. I really appreciated her professionalism. I also really liked the fact that she took her time to talk with me, explain everything, and was very thorough. I also must comment that the entire staff was very generous, helpful, and caring. The environment was friendly. Plus, the prices are generous! I know where I am going from now on for all my eye care! Thank you all for all of your positivity and generosity. Leaving this comment was the least that I could do.

Dr. Maldonado was very sweet, listened well, and took the time to explain everything to me. They worked with me on pricing, making sure all possible discounts were applied, as my insurance turned out to be only a discount program. The staff in the office were fantastic and very sweet. They also tried to make sure that I got what I needed and made sure I understood the difference between options on my glasses as well. They even offered to adjust my sunglasses to make them fit better.
