Very pleasant

First time looking a therapist and somehow I felt as though this particular therapist was trying to put me on medication the first appointment. Not my style. Not bad just not my style.

I liked talking to her however I felt like she wasn't really paying attention to my paperwork as well as doing her research for drug interactions. I was put one two different antidepressants and each time I expressed that I was on heart and blood pressure meds as well. When I did my research for drug interactions, they both had moderate issues. This was my biggest issue because I had issues before with a different dr. This time I had really bad adverse reactions, to the point where my heart went into AFib. If she showed more care and did more research, then her ratings would probably be 5 stars or closer to it. I appreciate her time and experience but she's not the one for me.

Nicole was excellent with the treatment of my anxiety symptoms. The medication she selected for me has been the only medication that has effectively treated my symptoms. There were a few misleading reviews about how she just prescribes a medication but that is exactly what a Nurse psychiatrist does, diagnose and treat mental health disorders. If you are seeking counseling there are other professions that address this.
it was my first session with Nicole, but she was excellent well versed very knowledgeable. She is also certified for every type of treatment and need. Highly recommended regardless of your needs.

Great

I was really worried about starting therapy at first, but she made me feel so comfortable and I was able to ask any questions. Can’t wait to further see her. Great therapist!
Verified patient
She was very pleasant however, I was a little frustrated that medication to treat my possible depression was insisted upon a second time after mentioning I wanted to avoid that. I really need someone to talk to about my issues- not one who will force medication on me then schedule a follow up for weeks later. At the end of the call which lasted 25 mins, I agreed to take the meds but canceled the Rx bc I want someone who will listen instead of brushing me off with meds.
THANK YOU!!!
Verified patient
She was ok overall I read something about her pushing meds which did happen I felt like I led most of the appointment honestly which wasn’t that bad but I felt like it was more so just me telling her my issues and her offering meds
I was concerned after a previous review mentioned medicine pushing. But I tried her out anyway. She’s pleasant but certainly not warm or compassionate. Rejected me as a patient because I wouldn’t try anti depressant medication after only talking for less than fifteen minutes. Big red flag. I think the previous bad review is correct and this “therapist” is less concerned about help and only about pushing prescriptions.
She seems to be patient

They’re office only services MD residents. I was allowed to book an appointment without seeing this important information. Maybe 10-15 minutes into the appointment she was prescribing me without asking any in-depth questions other than the previous medications I used and if I had treatment before. I gave a quick synopsis of my situation and she was ready to prescribe immediately. I felt uneasy because we hadn’t spoken for very long before she was asking what was my pharmacy of choice. Then as she was prescribing, she discovered that I was not a MD resident. Disappointed to say the least especially because I was on my lunch break. Maybe ask if they’re a MD resident first before allowing someone to divulge into their mental woes.
I just met Ms. McLeod through a video visit for my first appointment, and she is so kind and professional. I didn’t know what to expect using ZocDoc since I’ve never found a Doctor through here but it definitely exceeded my expectations. She should definitely have more reviews on this site!
